The entire residential student community (GST/BD) of the Seminary are shuffled and divided into 12 groups with two Faculty members as leaders of each group. Fellowship groups are designed for a more intimate and personal bonding among students within the Seminary. The groups offer a platform for scriptural and contemporary discussions as well as a scope for managerial training.
Fellowship groups convene every Wednesdays. Wednesdays are either for an in-depth study or sermon making based on the prescribed gospel portion for the Sunday according to the Liturgical Calendar or to discuss on more contemporary issues and new developments in theology and philosophy. It is these Fellowship groups that take charge of the mess service of the Seminary. Months round the calendar are assigned to individual groups by drawing lots at the start of the academic year. The Fellowship groups also arrange study tours and pilgrimages.
